So i went out the other day and dug a hut site out of the 50 or so that are there and i got about halfway through digging it before i had to head home lot of digging but it was worth it to me. If anyone could give me some advice on how to dig these out or how big they are and how deep i would appreciate it i know i didnt dig this one all the way out. Thanks Adam. PS the pics are off a phone so not the best quality.

Great Work finding a few huts. You need to dig bigger holes. ;D
Here is some good info on digging huts.

Also look for signs of brick as they are sometimes in the fire pits. Here is the beginning of a hut
I started digging last Fall. This was the fire pit area of the hut.

Huts can have all kinds of good stuff in them or they can be empty it's just the luck of the draw. Good luck.

YOU SURE KNOW HOW TO DIG.YES I WOULD GET A SCREEN TO SHIFT THROUGH.

Nice finds. Be careful, there may be some really good bottles in a hut site.

Nice CW finds! There are some videos on youtube of a group of detectorists diggin out hut sites. That might be informative. Here is one where the old Veteran hut digger gives some pointers. Warning. The intro to the video is cheesy.Actually this one is part of a series you can find the rest on youtube.
