Thank you for posting. What are the differences between a T2 and an AT Pro ? I'm thinking of buying one of those on down the line at some point. Both are popular detectors in my area but I really dont know how they perform in a match up.

The T2 (Special Edition or LTD) is priced higher and is a great relic machine. But I tell you,I believe the AT Pro can hold its own against any machine. If I could only buy one, I'd buy the AT Pro. I actually have two of them - I bought an extra one for a spare. And, of course, they're water proof to 10', so they're great for hunting rivers and streams as well. The T2 is very good in cleaner areas with little trash - that's been my experience. Both (especially the T2) are lightweight units and I can swing either of them all day. Hope that helps.
