Finally made it back to wv last weekend and got to hunt the civil war camp. Grass was tall so couldn't hunt the easy spots had to climb cliffs and hunt briar patches. I got a handful of bullets and a brass piece still not 100 per sure what it is. We found out the side of the mountain was a shooting range. Shot bullets every where and small shrapnel parts from hitting rocks. Very hard to hunt but know I can go there and dig a bullet anytime. We only hit a 60ft area and got close to 30 shot ones. My friend dug another eagle i button, his first coat button. Probably not going back this year so guess now I'll have to start digging colonial relics again.

Nice variety of finds. I really like that last picture of the rocks and trees. Looks nice enough to enlarge and hang on my wall.

Congratualtions! :occasion14:

Nice hunt for sure! It great to have a place like that, that you can fall back on or take someone to. Those kind of places are getting very hard to find. Enjoy the ride!

The mushrooms look pretty yummy also!

Nice dig's Collector. What's the deal with the large screw? Artillery? Caisson maybe?
