It amaze's me all the coin's and relic's that have been asphalted over >:( Still some nice save's Jeff :icon_thumright:

(first picture) Is that you on the Bike having a test run, or sitting on the grass looking for coins? :D :icon_thumright:

On a more serious note, its a good spot the different set of photo's. Other than the tower being smaller, I wonder why the lighter bricks have got darker over time :icon_scratch:

It was a good day, 4 wheats total for me 24,41,42,and 45? Guess if we would dig those iron signals we would get the steelies in there. I am thinking that the church may have been rebuilt or somewhat rebuilt due to the amount of nails, and "fresh" off colored dirt that was around back, and the fineal that was an inch deep. Still a good day of fun in the sun, pullin grubs out of the holes for the birds to eat ;D

The church was probably painted. Yes. Paint on exterior brick, sometimes to protect soft or poor quality brick. There are plenty of 19th C. brick houses in Pennsylvania (and elsewhere) that have been painted many times over.
