:occasion17: After a good 6 hours into the night it's about 10pm, a quiet night a few musket balls, colonial buttons and not much else. So I've
decided to make one last line and head home. I noticed footprints everywhere and a few holes, in this area, but whoever detected prior tracked
their coverage in one basic direction without crisscrossing against their first back and forth lined up with the fields rows. I always detect in four
movement right angles when in an open field. And just where the footprints walked in linear consistency I crossed them at a right 90` line.
Received a faint but promising signal, dug about 7-8" and found a small 12.5mm button with the pinpoint. It was small and missing it's
shank but in great condition, as I gently brushed the dirt off I saw a 7 point star with a rayed field, I dropped to my knee's beside myself
heart beating strong and fast, Thinking OMG my rarest and personal FAV find.. The Piedmont was looking out for me in the most major
way... Thank the Lord and my lucky star!!!!:hello2: IMG_0271.JPGIMG_0274.JPG
