I had great gold expectations running thru my head prior to going there, there's a swimming pond!

The pond has floating docks people can jump from into the middle of the pond, unfortunately the M6 doesn't swim! So the gold still lays in the water, at the bottom, or at lest in my imagination it does!

The area has history so I will be revisiting it before end of summer. These are my merger finds. I got a little excited when the gold ball appeared, but instead of an earring it turned out to be the screw on part of someone's belly ring, looks to be GF no markings on it. Also scored a 1945 wheat cent!

Not only plenty of decent finds, but a wonderful time hunting AND, no Blingie standing at the door demanding a toll!

You might wonder why I hadn't been posting anything. Well, it's because I haven't been able to get back in my house after that last 1 penny hunt! LOL I'd better find something, soon! Or I'm gonna starve!! Where's that lady that gives away quarters?

yeah, it can be really tough and some may never find it but then on the other hand, could be the very next trip! I wouldn't give up on that spot yet. good hunting MsBeepBeep, something good is just around the corner (just wish I knew which corner!LOL)

Oh fine! It took poor MsBeepBeep for freakin' ever just to learn how to post a pic! NOW, you want her to have to learn all that comes with digging in the water!!! LOL That's a sight I think I might would like to see.

SUSANMN - until I come home with the truck full of gold I don't think hubby will be liking the idea of buying a water detector (I am after all the sole "detecting nut job" in the family!) lol!
