Cheaper detector with VDI and 8" depth?

Re: Cheaper detector with VDI and 8" depth?

8" is pushing it but for cheap... A Fisher F2 has VDI and combined with being lightweight and fast response time its a great "value" detector.

Re: Cheaper detector with VDI and 8" depth?

You need to look at the manufacturers websites to learn which ones meet your needs. Under ideal conditions detectors can reach depts of the dia of the coil. You need to pay more for power just like for cars. You need to be able to ground balance too.

Minelab X-terra 305 or 505 is your answer.

Your answer is the Gamma 8 inches no problem good VDI and you can ground balance it.I think it has tone ID your wife would love it.It is also very light weight. The AT PRO would be good for your wife too some of my friends wifes are swinging them women love that machine.
