✅ SOLVED Charm of some kind maybe?

Hi all, I hope this works as this is only my second post and I am not too sure on how to post pictures.
This is my first real find apart from modern coins and trash so I am stoked.
Found this little gem today and have no clue on age or even what it is, thinking either a charm or a zipper pull maybe, I can't locate anything online about it.
This rang up as a 16 mid/high tone on my safari and was about 6 inches deep.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated if anyone knows of the company, time period or possibly what it is.
Front has "Paddle & Saddle" rear has "Royce N.Y."

Well ...I don't know.
There is a paddle saddle for Kayak paddling.
There are also places out west combining rafting trips with horseback riding.(not at the same exact time ).

Yeah, but those others are at Yellowstone, not quite the same " charm " as NYC.

Deftone, I think you are right, I found this tag from an item of their clothes and the horse is the exact same. which is around the 1950's but am yet to locate anything with that pull/charm.
I am very new to detecting and I don't even have a clue what type of metal it is, looks copper colored, but rang up as gold/foil on the detector.
I am determined to get the hang of this lol.

There are a few of those pacific trail ones online for sale, same company made them just can not locate anything on the paddle and saddle ones.
