Cemetery Field - Hammered + 5 Silvers...

Named the field after the neighbouring Cemetery.
We could have carried on in the Village Field & get more hammered but they are not going anywhere & I wanted to try a hunch. (After all, the Village Field was a hunch with no Archy intel) It was a field at the same elevation as the Village Field & it ran along the same road. I hoped it would have Hammered in as well. Although I only got 1 hammered in the 4 hours of gridding it was still worth our while with a few 'Firsts'.

Cambridgeshire Militia Buttons (not had this pattern)
1794 Northampton Yeomanry Button (Not had this & unusual to see a date on a Military Button)
Loads of pre-decimal coins
Badge of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants 1872-1913, its a nice bit of Social history that predates the National Union of Railwaymen. (first)
1930s Promotional Medal from a Toothpaste manufacturer - Ivory Castle League (first)
5 Modern Silvers, but a Rare to find Halfcrown

It wasn't on the official target list, but until I get it out of my brain list, it liggers their! This year I returned to a field that had been on my mind for years & it too proved to have Hammered, as I suspected & its now on our list to do.
