not a problem jamey. This field has been treating me well. Theres a big oak tree on the edge of the field which seems to be bringing me some "luck" :leprechaun-hat:

were you are at seems like it would be hard to find them,i did not see that you were in ny when you showed the triangle you found,i like your ny finds

Yup, so far all of my finds have been in 2 fields. The hammerstone and one other point came from a field that I found out not long ago doesn't get turned over which kinda bums me out because the location seems perfect, but I have permission none the less so I'll check it out from time to time. Everything else has been one field, like I said in another post somewhere has been hunted by another couple guys for a long time. This will be my go to field as I've been finding at least broken ones each time I go there. It still amazes me haha.

watch out there captain, finding these artifacts draws you in really bad.i spent years trying to find out about how they moved, where they hunted, how the moon being closer to the earth back then had an effect on them,ya kinda too far out there i guess..im getting a little better now,but that bug is hard to get rid of.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm really not sure why this fascination started, but it has. I work 12 hour shifts on my feet all day then when I'm home I'm reading online about the history, old arch reports and so on. Then on my days off I'm out hunting. It's quite consuming, but I feel like I'm preserving history in a way. Maybe the pieces I get aren't that significant, but I feel better knowing that these things are found and stored in my collection rather than hidden under a driveway or housing development.
