Electric and phone service on a 300 year old house .... that is always something that cracks me up , when I see these existing colonial homes . Many of your cellar holes once looked like this homestead. Check it out again , there should be many more finds . There is a 1710 two story in Dawgville that has a privateer cache of loot folklore attached to it's history . :o Grabbed that lock :laughing7: nice grab HMN , lock for the toad , good trade !!!! :D  dawg

Re: CELLAR HOLES,1710 HOMESTEAD & A DRAPED BUST

Re: CELLAR HOLES,1710 HOMESTEAD & A DRAPED BUST

I really like the old locks. To me, they have a quiet history. What were they guarding?
Nice finds!!

Same here....I hit a 1795 house last weekend and found a bunch of Wheaties and a war nickel! I have a feeling many of the homes near me had fill trucked in sometime during the suburban sprawl in the 1940's & 1950's!

Nice finds Dave! As always!

Re: CELLAR HOLES,1710 HOMESTEAD & A DRAPED BUST

I would love to excavate a cellar hole. That looks like a great place to dig! Congrats on the Bust! jgas
