There are times you must covertly sleep with the enemy to further a just cause and then there are those that will sleep with anyone and throw you under the bus to further their personal cause. And these days we also have just plain dysfunctional leadership!

"These days"?!?! When was the last time leadership WAS functional!!!

I actually think you are a good person (just a little screwed up) and it seemed like you were taking on all of us pro-gunners by yourself. Bum and Taz would chime in once in a while but without Spart, Dano, Rebel and a few others around to support your thinking, I was starting to feel bad about disagreeing with you on some things. No problem at all. I actually really enjoy a good discussion. I've also never let a belief get in the way of a good back and forth. One tool in critical thinking and debate is the ability to argue any side regardless of belief. After seeing this done numerous times you stop assuming what someone might actually believe and just stick to the topic being debated. That's why I always find it so funny to be called liberal, democrat, etc, etc. I'm am a well to do wasp who has voted republican his entire life. That being said my views on any individual issue run from ultra liberal to downright fascist.

My last party affiliation was Republican (quit because I don't like parties); I'm an NRA life member and am very pro-Second Amendment.

I basically vote to offset stupidity and ignorance. I always say, "Stupidity and any other negative trait only make each of them exponentially worse."

I agree wholeheartedly with Stockpicker about critical thinking skills.

One of my irrational indulgences is that I like the Packers.
