I realized that I haven't posted many of my finds in a while, so here is a group of random finds from a couple colonial sites in Massachusetts and Vermont. Any info on ID's or dates would be appreciated. image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

I cleaned up a few old coppers and discovered my first Massachusetts Copper, I think. Diameter is correct and it looks better in person.

Also so found this strange copper. It measures 23.5mm and weighs 8 grams. It feels like it has a thick rim and it's not a perfectly round planchet. Any guesses?

I like the toy Tea Pot!

The Pewter/lead-alloy crown is part of the top of a German crown perfume bottle - circa 19th C - early 20th

You beat me to it. The tea pot is great! [emoji106]

I have found one of them circular items as well on the lot I've been hunting. I believe someone Identified it as a ferrule which would make sense, but it seems ferrules would be a little deeper. That is the closest Idea I have for them.

Yes, my snap ID was wrong, they are part of some tool, the end bit of the shaft, but now I forget what tool/farming implement.

Pic 6 and 7, it is a buckle for a military web belt. If early, most likely a canvas web belt but they have been used thru the 1990's
Here's a link of a pic Mills Belt: Militaria | eBay
