✅ SOLVED Cast Brass Vessel of Some Sort

Any help would be appreciated. I can't find anything comparable. It appears to be cast brass, it stands 4 5/8" tall, 3 3/4" at it's widest, a 2 1/2" diameter base and almost 3" opening at the top. It weighs 16.6 ounces. It's pretty beat up and dented. Has a few markings on it, one around the rim which may or may not be an Islamic date(?), not sure. I tried to get good photos but my main camera broke on me so this is it...
