Carvings Miles Apart, another bird. maybe?

those lee county bird carvings are getting around. a guy sent me 6 photos of 6 flat rocks, all have a series of land mark codes on them. the rocks covers a 5 mile area. on this one, i was surprised to see another bird carving. hmm makes one wonder. from henry bowlin gap, to rockcastle river, to mckee ky, war fork and station camp creek and than lee county. now another 45 miles away. any ideas.

These either mark a trace that it no longer there or mark a territory or property of a tribe or family.
