Wearing today my Super Ninja costume and armed with only my detector and shovel, I headed back out today for a covert hunting operation on the home turf of the Beach Hunters Secret Society...
Figuring they were now on to me I took a secret entrance that they would not expect...
Seeing that the high tide was rising fast I immediately headed to the water and began my hunt...Almost immediately, I once again began digging quarters and nickels and within 10 minutes I had recovered a 1957-D Silver Washington..
Possibly this is where they have been hiding the gold along :?: :?:
I tried and tried to battle the rising tide, but I was overwhelmed and finally was chased away
The whole time I was there I felt as if someone was watching me, but when I turned all I could see was my Dear Lucy gazing lovingly upon me :yes:
So I continued on digging and digging like in my past visits..This place was still loaded with coins and I can only imagine what was hiding under that pounding surf :yes:
When all of a sudden I saw two figures peering at me through binoculars from behind the dunes..:shock: :shock:
I immediatey chased them and they took off running as if the devil himself was nipping at their heels
In their haste the one dropped his cell phone, which I recovered..
I tried for quite awhile to obtain the data from it , but The Secret Society must have zapped it, when they found out that it had fallen into enemy hands...
The second member was not so lucky as I easily caught him and subdued him without much of a fight......
I spent the next 3 hours interrogating him, to find out where they were hiding all this gold from these affluent beaches....
He was one tough Hombre for sure as even the rising tide would not get him to talk...
Finally before the water was about to overcome him, he admitted to me that The Society had been seeding the beach with quarters to throw me off the scent of the gold...I KNEW IT !! :no:
I did find this survival gear in his possesion, but of course NO DETECTOR..
I wanted to open the foil wrapper to determine what was inside, but was afraid The Society had booby trapped it :shock:
I finally left him for the crabs, since I could not garner anymore info from him..
The weather had gotten much nicer and I continued on my quest for the gold, but to no avail..
All in all it was another exciting mission and am looking forward to my next outing..
