Went to a little local county Fourth of July event this past Monday and pretty well cleaned house!! Among some sterling items and a couple of coin silver spoons, I picked up these little golden beauties.

14k ring with real diamonds and probably a pink tourmaline- 3.0g -$15.00.

14k frog pin made by Barton A Ballou-5.5g - $1.00.

Set of 14k cuff links I think by Krementz- 10.1g - $2.00.

Not a bad days work!!

I did not know Krementz made anything other than gold filled and played stuff.

They did make some 14k stuff. This set does not have the usual Krementz mark. But it's the same style and time period. They also acid tested positive for 14k.

Update!!: the cuff links set is made by Larter& Sons.

I completely understand! These kinds of finds don't happen to me very often. This was at a local church event where everything was donated. I'm guessing that someone just didn't know what they had and gave it away. The last big gold find we had was two years ago. They also had a small flea market going on and the one who runs it would have thought she was from antiques roadshow!! They had some cool stuff but the prices were like antique shop retail prices!! Some stuff had an eBay printout and they marked their price just a bit lower. I was laughing and thinking " good luck selling that!" Just keep searching. It's out there!!!

I was at a garage sale today where they had Amazon.com printouts attached to some of the things. The printout would be priced at $29.95 for new and they would want $20 for their opened box item. Crazy especially considering with Amazon you can send it back for a refund. They also had a few 14k items that were priced about what you would pay on sale at any of the chain jewelry stores.

Man you didnt even break a swett digging!! Awsome.

We actually just got back from my precious metals guy today and flipped the gold and some scrap sterling for a whopping $600.00!! After about a $45-50$ total investment. That made me do the happy pirate dance!! ☠

Down in the Maritimes where I reside I actually find a lot of gold jewelry, maybe people down here don't know what they have.

You should do well then. I do not do jewelry to many people looking for the same thing.
