Did anybody found any of Captain Kidd treasures? I believe that he did not bury many treasures. It is rumor that he bury treasures on Charles Island off the shores of Milford, Connecticut. Many people had look, but, no treasure yet.

There are stories all up and down the east coast. The only treasure found known to be his was I think on Block Island in Long Island Sound...maybe now in the state of Rhode Island? He coughed it up immediately upon arrest to save his skin. Apparently, it didn't work. While he sat in jail he started spouting stories about places in the US where he buried treasures too. Also didn't work. I don't believe any of them. What he buried on Block Island was apparently what he had left from the sale of all the Quedah Merchant goods...and he scuttled the ship. University of Indiana researchers found it in the Dominican Republic recently. They eventually want to make it a tourist trap.
