Hello all, New to the field. Picked up a Bounty Hunter Lonestar. Been bouncing around, be it beach or yard, or Native American trails. Found some cool coins, looking to hone in on my skills. This was the last two days finds......

My favorites are probably the Merc and the war Nickle.....but all together it was a funny collection with all the foreign coins i picked up...Sorry for the lousy pic, i can take better if needed.

I numbered the picture and made a list with a little info i could find on each coin...

Looking forward to many more finds. Anyone with pointers with the Lone star give me a yell....or anyone out on the cape for that matter. Im having a blast with this....
Thanks for looking...........TUNA8-)

From the land of the Bluenose.....love to hear that you are one with your machine and having a blast. So many folks forget that this is just a hobby and meant to have fun youz!

Looks like you are having a good time and the Sliver is a plus.
I do not know much about the machine you are using so I am no help there.
Happy Hunting

Banner Comment for sure, it just seems that so many have lost sight of what this hobby is all about.

good luck on the Cape, your coins look very clean?

Man, Awesome finds I absolutely love metal detecting, and the wife hates it. I just can't quit once I start, but it seems like here in Alaska there isn't a lot of older coins.... I have found plenty of clad tho. Any who good finds and keep hunting you're already on a nice roll...

Nice finds,some look gold!:coffee2:

Great find TUNA! Given time and patience you will have your machine figured out. Practice practice practice.....

Thanks for the comments. Again Im having a great time with this, and I know there is alot of old history in my particular area.

Most of the foreign coins are beach finds, and were only about 2" down and in maybe a 5yd radius. Im thinking they were probably dropped this summer maybe (as they were in GREAT shape)....

The Silver was dug up in a friends yard, i should have took before pics, cause i had to do a bit of cleaning to it....The War nickle and the large PESO were found on a trail in the woods.....

Thanks again for the input.......HAPPY HUNTING

Im mostly in the Falmouth, Woods Hole areas..........

Cool finds.........Welcome to our World of passion......or obsession which ever way you choose to look at it!.........Don't get discouraged :occasion14:
