I like hitting our fairgrounds as well, I have 2 of them within 12 miles of each other.

Awesome let us know how it turns out for ya I just worked the fair that was in my town about a week ago & made out nice

This is only about 5 miles from home, the next one is about 25 miles away. I hunt ours about once or twice a week. During Winter, when everything is froze, and you cant dig, I hunt inside the Livestock barns, cold, but you can dig, and they get lots of traffic. If I could only hunt one place all year, the County Fair Grounds would be my choice

Are all fairgrounds open to be hunted, or do you have to get permission? They have been having the fair at the same place in my county since the late 19th century, so I'm sure there is some great stuff there.

Ours is a large County Park complex, Splash Pad, Tot Lot, Moto-Cross Track, RC Air planes, And the 4-H Fair. It is open and gets used all year round, and is open everyday!! I hunt it atleast once a week!!

Sounds like an awesome spot! I'll have to do some research and see what I can turn up.
