Can't stand the cold - get out of the frig - got 3 rings

went from 20 degree weather in Ma. this morning to 80 degrees in Fla.

got in the waters off Miami just before sunset and rains came down
only about an hour - first target was a ring - last target was a ring
upper right is 10k with diamond chips
not bad for a quick jump in

Nice finds casper, florida sounds wonderful right about now. 19 degrees here right now. yuck! :BangHead:

The water up here is too cold to work in. Hell the air today was too cold to stand in. And the ground is too frozen to dig in. I have my fingers crossed it gets better this week so I can do some swinging.

Lucky you. It was 8 degrees when I left the house this morning.

Nice finds for an hour or so!

Congrats on your finds especially the warmer weather ! Wish I had found that up here this morning! Cooooold! And the wind was 25 w 45 mph gusts. Couldn't get my probe in the frozen ground in some spots. Couldn't dig a plug cause it won't go back in the frozen hole. It's nice to know Florida's corroded zincs look just like the ones up here, cause that's what I'll be digging it's about the only unfrozen ground around! Find something big and shinny so you can deflect some warmth up here!

I haven't detected in about two weeks!! :BangHead: I gotta get out more before all the good stuff is gone! Also, cool finds!

Very sweet finds send some of that warm stuff east would ya congrats

That's a lot of rings considering the total number of targets dug. Enjoy the warm weather - its pretty miserable up this way and about to get worse.

...I left out on how rough the water are - high winds - high waves - I got bashed around a lot and guarantee I was the only hunter in those waters
yesterday..there was only one swimmer out there
this morning waters were worse - and even I wont get in - huge waves---doubt I would have been allowed to stay out by lifeguards anyways
they weren't to happy I was in yesterday - I did get caught in a rip tide - but know how to handle it - plus having mask and snorkel helps
got a few more days down here - but looking for plans B & C - cause plan A is not going to work with the waves and winds
tell you this - when this stops and calms - guys down here are gonna kill it

Just think of the cuts those waves are going to produce. Good luck in the sunny south. If you want to see what it's like up here check out Ricks post from today.
