Looking to buy a second detector to compliment my at pro which I luv . Tried the f75 and got to much junk I no ther
good units but looking to go over searched areas I search in ma and would like some expert advise .l no etrac and v3i are great choices plus have around 1800 to spend but looking for a at pro user who is or was in this predicament . I hunt mostly parks and old home sites.any help would great .thanks k/d

I went the other way and got an ATP as back-up for my Safari. Both are fine machines. A buddy ruined his ATP land phones hunting in the rain so I got the Amphibians for damp or rainy work since I don't take the Safari out in the rain. Personally I like the Minelabs, and with an $1800 budget you can probably find a nice used CTX3030.

If you have $1800 to spend and hunt old parks and house get a Minelab E-Trac with the extra money get a 8'' butterfly coil and a sunray pinpointer. You will love it and it kills in silver.

Dig until your arm falls off

I hunt the same parks, home sites & I love my se pro I don't think I could ask for better when it comes to finding them silver baby's I have never seen the CTX3030 but I am sure it is a great machine. Just my .02 worth. Good Luck On Your Choice Many Out There To Choose From :dontknow:

Why don't you try calling Mary Hudson at Whites and inquire as to whether or not there any refurbished V3i or VX3 units for sale...they will either sell one to you direct or advise you which dealer has them for sale...you can save quite a few bucks and they come with a 2 year warranty.
