Agreed with jgas...time is ticking away now that it is out of the ground where it had acclimated to its resting place.I think you are gonna need a BIG tank.
 

Sweet bunch of finds. That barrel and bayonet is awesome.
 

the bottles look good , the gun barrel does not look salvageable. it's neat to find it but for me , not worth the trouble to preserve it.

I say it's worth a shot. No harm in trying. It's cool that the bayonet was attached to the barrel still I wonder why.
