My daughter took my Ace 250 to NJ and found this. She said its heavy and looks like iron. Could it be a cannonball Thanks

I have one just like yours that I found at a known skirmish site. Showed it to one of our long time hunters he said it looked like canister to him. I'd say that's what you have. If you can give measurements and weight maybe one of the many experts here can confirm. Nice find
