✅ SOLVED Cannon Foundry find- Firing Pin??

Hey guys,

Recovered this interesting iron relic at an old cannon foundry in Virginia. Did not think much of it until I rediscovered it among some other unidentified iron. It is non magnetic, solid...and heavy- 9.5mm in length. It is rectangular on all sides, but does taper towards a circular blunt point. Any ideas??
