Got out for the last hunt of March. I went to a Baltimore City park on the east side of town. Only one 'old' item today. This token is listed in David E. Shenkman's "Index of Maryland Merchant Tokens"; his index sites this company as one from Baltimore. A researcher shared with me that this company "Gibbs Pres. Co." of Baltimore, MD was involved in vegetable canning as sited in agricultural magazines of 1916-1917 and that this company is referenced in an article appearing in the Baltimore Sun paper of 1891. Exact age is unknown.

Thanks creskol. I think it showed 11/32 on the Etrac.
BTW, great job on the research!

By the way, there is no photo of your token in Schenkman's book .. Just a description.
