Can you use a Tesoro Cibola at the beach?

You can use a Tesoro (or any other detector) anywere you have permission? ;D

Basing the decision on which detector to buy based on 1% of the time doesn't need to be pointed out. ;)

Nope, not basing the decision on the 1% usage. Was just fact finding for all around usage. The machine is in the right price range and every review I've read so far seems to think they are pretty decent beginner machines. Although, I'm not a complete novice as I used to have a White's Coin shooter when I was a young teen and still remember a few things I learned.

Although I never have, I'm sure it would do well. The worst that would happen is turning the sensitivity down til its stable. The Cibola is a great machine!!!!

C,

go for it. sherlock.jpg For the one percent solution

have a good un..........

I use a Minelab XTerra 70 (manual GB) & a Garrett Ace 250 (set GB) when detecting Florida Treasure Coast Beaches. Can't see a bit of difference in performance; they both do fine.

I would, however, buy the Tesoro Vaquero vs. Cibola as land mineralization can change quite a bit in the same area where you'd think it would be about the same. Vaquero offers the manual GB feature.
