You can make a hat, or a broach, or a teradactil......
Take off the coil and use it to poke people.
Play lightsabers with your other buddy with a cheapo.
Place it underneath the leg of that table that just won't sit right.
Bury it and let someone else find it with a good detector.
Use it as a wheel chuck when parking on an incline.
Use it to unclog that stubborn toilet.
Use it as a prop cane to perform that Fred Estaire number.

Let a kid use it and take some time off from your own detecting and help them learn
1)there actually ARE things that are cool to find under the ground
2)patience is a virtue
3)Giving some your time and self to others is a great gift

Okay, I will try this question.

1.Stud finder

2. Scan your local teenager for hidden weapons.

3. Aid for robbery. Run into your local jewelers shop and wave your detector around and with a crazed look shout "I am getting all kinds of readings for Gold and it is finders keepers time!" Then Swing your detector around wildly and yell "Get off my claim trespasser!", to the perplexed jewelry clerk.

The FBI and the media would call you the "Metal Detectonator"

4) Modify that detector and make it better.

5) Swing that baby over a huge treasure. Make a fortune, Retire to the Caribbean and then detect the coast with the sweetest detector and have fun for a living.

I recommend number 5. But number 4 is also acceptable.
