Being a cub scout was definitely an educational experience back in the day. I was one more than half a century ago. I was wondering if a Google photo identifier might be what ID'ed it.I wouldn't of known what plants is was except years ago as Cub Scout leader we just so happened to cover Venus Flytraps when I was going over IDing plants one may encounter while hiking in the woods with my Cubs Scouts.
The Venus Flytrap are native here in wetlands of South Carolina
It appears that your dad was the Cubmaster?Being a cub scout was definitely an educational experience back in the day. I was one more than half a century ago. I was wondering if a Google photo identifier might be what ID'ed it.
Its a houseplant. I'm able to gather earwigs under dead leaves against the fence and other areas outside for it during the winter. Couple weeks ago I spotted this early-bird juvenile grasshopper and gave it as an offering. The plant pretty much sucked every bit of nutrients out of it. Now I'm thinking it really favors baby grasshoppers, because after that the plant seemed to become so much more healthier.Do you feed that plant bugs? 🐛 Does it catch them naturally or is it an inside plant?
