It is agate, you would need to a clean cut to determine quality, if they cut well, they will likely be beautiful, nice find, go back and get bigger specimens if possible

They are actually not that small, I should of had a reference like my hand or a coin, the two pinkish rocks are almost 10lbs themselves but the other's are like my fist but nothing smaller than 2 1/2 inches. Yeah I found a area with a lot of this stuff but I only had an hour to grab some specimens. So I should go back?

I found them way back in the mountains I'd say the closest city would be wickenburg Az, Wickenburg area...

If you have access to a wet saw, a quick cut would reveal, they look great, I would get more when possible. Very cool

I agree with loco, you have some nice chalcedony agate. The darker brown may be sandrox so there is a possiblity you may find some with some fire in it. What you have there is what I look for down near the Silver Bells outside of Tuscon. The darker the sandrox in it the higher the potential for Fire Agate.

You're finding nice large pieces and the material seems to be plentiful where you are.

The good news is you are just up the road from Quartzite.
As I remember, the Quartzite show is very busy around the end of Jan. and is very heavy in bulk, raw rock.
In Feb. many participants would move over to the Tucson shows.

I'd suggest you get a couple buckets of your best, and head to one of those shows.
If you like rocks, you'll go nuts.

They will have plenty of material for you to compare, and you'll know exactly the value or lack of value that your rock has, that way.

Thanks everyone, there's also big light brown to tan rocks with big triangular shaped lines of colorful chalcedony / agate, is there good agate inside of large rocks and if so how would you remove it (acid)? The stone is much softer but not soft to chisel out agate safely.

Don't mess with acids, unless you know what you are doing, as far as what you are dealing with, rock tools are all ya need, chisels of varying widths, no chems
