More specific:
I purchased a Detech SEF WSS 10 X 5 coil for my White's M6 a few years ago, and used it very little.

I brought it back out this year, and it's not working.
Nada. Nothing. Dead. No signal.
Jiggling / wiggling wire didn't change anything.
Tried it on a different White's machine, same result.

Is it trashed, repairable, something I can check???

Any advice is appreciated.

Depends on where it broke, and how the coil is built. If it's in the connector, it's probably fixable. That's where I would start. If it's in the coil or cable, and the coil is epoxy-poured, not fixable. If the coil is not epoxy-poured you still have a chance, albeit a slim one.

My Garrett GTA 1000 needs a new connector put on the coil. it has a short about 1 inch from where it connects to the machine. is there a place I can get a connector or get it repaired, any help would be apreciated greatly!
