I have been trying several forums in order to determine what this might be. It has Kent on the top and assistant on the bottom. I personally think it looks something to do with martial arts, as it seems to be hands holding 2 sticks while possibly jumping or holding them self in the air. It was found on a beach in Southern California so I do not think it has anything to do with Kent State but who knows, Items seem to travel to far away places. On the back is stamped F&S, looks like mfg. stamp, with 3 icons, a lion, an anchor, and I am not sure what the third is. I appreciate anyone that can help and thank you in advance for your replies, because I have not quit figured out how to reply to everyone that responds, but I will keep trying.

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

That’s a Provincial Past Masters Masonic Jewel for an Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies. They’re ‘provincial’ in the sense that you’ll find them for all counties/regions, like the one below for Cornwall:

At the end of a Freemasons term as Worshipful Master, the Lodge will present him with a Past Masters Jewel in recognition of his work in that role. These jewels are similar in appearance to a military medal and normally worn hanging from the left breast pocket of the suit jacket (rather than the collar, as suggested in that eBay listing).
