Jimmy, when U bought the detector, did U happen to get an owners manual for it? If not, call White's in Sweet Home< Oregon. They should have one that they can send U. When I was running an old White's 6000D, I contacted the service dept. and they sent me one along with a cassette tape audio that had the instructions as well as a parts list-and they did it for free.
It was made for Sears and Sears wanted $10 for the manual alone. >:(
Congrats on getting your posts on the net and HH. stoney56

yes i have the manuel and a question.the manuel talks of sensitivityknob.problem is there is no sens
knob.it does have a knob disc.adj and a knob says geb,geb disc., and tr disc. niether of these 2 knobs is described in manuel. Any guesses?

I am thinking that those knobs are ground balance which should translate into Sensitivity. one must help the other. Go to the manual or ccall whites and just ask them. Maybe you dont have the right manual or you just arent getting it right somewhere. Keep expierimenting though. I would definetly call whites .

thanx floater youve been a big help
