Hi! I believe these were found in Upper Michigan. I am just starting to learn about gems.

Does anyone know what any of them are? ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1453612102.118148.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1453612143.219254.jpg

There is a closer picture of the oval black rock so you can see the design. I'm very interested to learn what this rock is!

Thanks for any input!

Have to ask that you take some close up individual pics of the array you have as I'm not sure what to say about most of them~ one looks like a zircon, two look like agates the bigger on in the lower right a very nice one and the darker pieces?? the thin one upper right looks like barite but could be something else. your water worn bit is mostly quartz with feldspar *the square looking stuff* so I'd have to guess its a pegmatite in origin. Your area is good for glacial deposits so the wear may be from that as well.

The one in the bottom right looks pretty cool. Almost looks like Fordite, which I mention as it may be geographically relevant. But your sample seems more mineral-like and chunky than what I have seen of Fordite.

The lower right looks like boulder opal with the iridescent colors??
