Can ACE 250 find nickels?

I went out for the 3rd time with my new ACE 250 and I am really amazed how it rejects trash. Of course, this is with all the notches turned off on the left, all the way from iron to penny. And since this area was full of new pennies I turned penny off too and then it was pretty reliable finding dimes and my first 2 quarters. And I did have my sensitivity set on 4 out of 8 as had been recommended. I did not find that 5 or 6 helped any. Anyway, my question is how can I ever find nickels if they ring the same as trash? Are there other machines that are better at finding nickels? Or should I not worry about it since they are only 5c !!

Yes it will find nickles. At the club hunt today with the 250 in jewlery mode I found 68 of them.
