Nice finds on the keys and the buttons.

Hey Digger, whatcha' in for? I'm glad things went well and hope your out of the Hospital soon and fully recovered.

Sweet finds 'As usual' lol

As for the keys, I guess 85% that they were mid -late 1800's & if they were found in a camp most likely for CW Era Locks. "IMO"

Thanks Davers, someone finally answered my question, thank you!

I had my left hip replaced on Monday. I'm home now & recovering well. I hope I can dig in a month or so. Thanks for asking.

Glad to hear you are well my friend, don't push it to hard and looking forward to some new civil war posts.

I didn't mean to pirate your thread buddy. Thanks for the kind words & I won't push too hard. Pm me if you'd like to talk.

Davers right, they're period warded keys for a warded keyhole / pin set. The smaller one could have been for a lock drawer on a writing desk or small lock as Davers pointed out. The larger key could have been a safe key, door key or a large lock. Do either keys have any marks, such as initials, figures or such? Anyhow great finds Joe and as always, thanks for sharing...
