Calling all marines, where and when did you go to bootcamp?

I see those yellow footprints and start laughing outloud. Only Marines would need a guide on where to place your feet when standing in formation.....:laughing7:

Sorry TTC, you know how the inter-service rivalry goes, we are all brothers in arms anyways.

You only get the yellow footprint guide once....then go ahead and be the recruit that isn't perfectly spaced at 40" back to chest.:censored:

Light Armored Air Defense? The LAV-AD? Badass vehicle

(Low Altitude Air defense) Google Avenger weapon system its similar to LAV's but the stingers are mounted to a Humvee.. and yes both are badazz vehicles. Stingers can also be fired bye hand.
 

1989-1995, Platoon 3048 Mike company San Diego. 0811 cannoneer crewman for 4yrs and a 8152 Marine Corps Security Forces in Kings Bay Ga. For 2.5 yrs. I had to extend for 6 months to get the B billet.

Funny story.... 1st morning of Bootcamp. DI's yell at everyone to get on the Road @ 0 dark 30.
Everyone trying to get dressed in a hurry and fall into some kind of formation. One guys doesn't have a hat on.
DI gets in his face and yells at him. "WHERE"S YOUR COVER? You're going to get heat stroke !!!!!!" Boot runs inside and comes out with a blanket over his head. TerryC, I thought you looked familiar:laughing7:

Talk about a small world!! I was in your platoon! I will never forget SSgt Andrade. He ended up at Lejeune where I was.
