I had h3ard about a place where people used to find bronze or gold coins by plugging or even collecting the olives. Believe me, it happens.
This was the most haunted place. I could notice some ruins and the owner of the land told me that they are the ruins of a 7th century church. The ruins were on the top of a hill and all around the hill I could find lots of human bones. It was full of bones. Anyway, I could find some nice stuff.

Lead stuff
Lead sling bullets, loom weights, lead pot ments. This pot ment is very special. The pot piece is still inside of the lead.

I couldn't have pics of the bones cause it was raining all the time but I have to turn back there as soon as I can.
For now that's all.
Thanks guys

Wow Vince those are some awesome finds, like Lance says in "Detectorist" metal detecting as close as we come to time travel...who wore that cross, who dropped those coins...the imagination runs wild. Congratulations!

You're right mate. When I hear the sound I feel the adrenaline and when I cool down the imagination takes place.

That one cross looks like the "Oak Island" Templar cross and the one above the bird looks like Prince's old symbol. (Sorry but these will probably only humor us Americans) :laughing7:
Great finds though. I rely envy all the finds posted from across the pond.

Vince,
Can you post a pic of the reverse side of the follis?
Thanks,
Don.......

Here it is Don. I tried to clean it just a little bit!

Vince,
Great cleanup of the follis !!
I read the mint as Constantinople (CON) versus SELISU if it were from the mint of Seleucia Isauriae.
I read the regnal year as 9; and the 'officina' as "A" (between the "M")
Don........
