BWAHAHAHA! Gold Ring #3 in two weeks! 10K! WOOT! WOOT!

Went back out to the old elementary school again today. Only hunted for about an hour and a half. Didn't even leave the house until 6:30 after the heat died down. Dug some clad, a few pull tabs, and some shredded aluminum, then dug this 10K gold band. Thought for sure it was going to be another pull tab LOL!

This is my 3rd gold ring in two weeks. Dug a 14K on July 31st, a 15K on August 8th, and now a 10K on August 14th. This Delta 4000 is a ring-findin' mofo. I used to get jealous of these beach combers but now I am realizing the stuff is everywhere!

Thanks. I have basically had to fight for every ring I have found - be it old geezer caretakers at the lake or "NO TRESPASSING" signs at the school, every ring has been a battle of some sorts.

Got ran off by the cops last night. I told them I had permission from a school board member to hunt this place, but I complied and left anyway. There was a pee wee football team practicing on the field and I guess one of the parents or coaches called the cops and told them to have me removed. Perhaps the kids were more interested in what I was doing instead of concentrating on football?

So, today I called the school board member that had originally given me permission. He said he did not see anything wrong with me MD'ing there, but I should call the school super to straighten things out, so I did.

The superintendent was a real tool. I am going to start another thread about this in the MD'ing forum.

So it looks like the honey hole is no more - for now...

I'm digging parks and schools, still finding only junk foil, tabs and lots of lron. How many before you started striking it big? I only have a teknetics alpha. Sounds like I should of spent the extra bucks on a delta. Does the delta do water too?
