Anyone ever buy gold nuggets off of ebay? I have bought a few lately and am having fun just checking them out!

No worries G1sammons. Hollywood gets all he can pan my friend. I have an interest in a claim in the liberty bell area and a few other friends with claims. I'll be sure to pass the info along to him and see what he says. As for the state of our country, until there's not a selfserving interest governing this great nation we all just need to be prepared. Better that than being caught with our silkies around our knees!

Wish I knew him I'd drag him in the water . Stick a mask on his face and let him go to,dredging ... No need for legs down there...

So, let me put my two cents into this conversation and tell you why I bought paydirt. I live in an area with zero gold. I have two nephews that want to go out east and pan with me and my brother. My nephews are 9 and 11. I bought paydirt to teach them how to pan. Letting them see some color and take it home, will get them excited about the trip and beats the crap out of using lead shot.

I don't believe thers a place with no gold ! At least with in a short driving distance...
It's there! It just that no one has found it yet !

Just a quick update. we finally got around to panning elkie13's dirt. Here's a pic of 1 of the 2 pounds we got, other one was just about the same. Having never seen gold in the pan before, it was a great way to see what was happening.
