Since you folks were so helpful that last time I posted here, I thought you could help again. I think this is a button. No loop on back. very flat. Front has a radial design aound it. Any clues? Thanking you so much in advance.

Looks like a revolutionary war era button I have. Whatever it is its definetly 1800's
