Found this along with a toe tap and a lead bale seal. Any ideas on era? Hope you can see it. Anchor with wreath

Here's a better picture of the button. Does not appear to be of the same era as the other 2 items, but not sure.

A good way to tell the fashion buttons is that they have an iron (steel) back. The military ones were pretty much brass. So I would agree with you that it is probably fashion.
