I've found several buttons in the past including civilwar era, rev. war era, and etc. etc. but,
although I do know a lot about a lot of them, there are some I know nothing about (this is one of those pieces) and besides, I'm a coin expert more than anything!
The back is too corroded to see a makers mark- that's why I haven't a clue as to what it is or where to start looking for the style/etc..
If anyone can ID this one for me, please post your input,
