Detector(s) used
Teknetics patriot, Tesoro silver Umax and a BH 101 Hey Who was laughing? With 8" & 10" coils..
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
So I am ordering some business cards for detecting.
I like the design I came up with "1859 IHP" is my first cooper, it also came off MY property..
Should I have the pic of the coin on it? Does that make it harder to keep finds?

Also a question on the reverse side, Of course I like to keep some finds. Is the phrase
"The property owner always has the right to first refusal of all finds." good or do you have a better
statement?

Also any other tips or thing you might add?

Thanks all and HH....

I would remove the line about filling all holes. It's redundant to the rest of your guarantees and property owners get squeamish at seeing the word 'holes.

the only time you should probably tell them about holes it they ask how will you dig them

Nice card! I will have to agree with the others about the bullet...holes. IMHO: You could always demonstrate to the land owner the proper extraction techniques and use the word plug instead of hole.

Agree with holes being a negative.
A valueable coin pictured hints towards the unreal ,but common unspoken suggestion of items of value being targeted and pot of gold visions in some owners eyes.

A quality parchment /textured card adds to the perceived tangible value. That increases odds of a card being retained.

Being a hobby detectorist with experience in recoveries if help is desired is a good point to get across.
If seeking permission to search a yard ,a casual just keeping in shape with the hobby approach by looking for anything older than yourself is not as threatening as a full tilt treasure hunter.

Your offer of first rights to finds is generous. And for a landowner that trusts you (and not all will for sure) will help ease fears of being plundered should those visions of treasure or great unknown value pop up in the owners mind.

Proof read before printing. I will respect your, not you, property.

Thanks xr7! i missed that "r".

Awesome advice so far all thanks.
I will replace the word holes with plugs.
Also Should I add the word "Hobby" to Detectorist?
Not sure if that will promote worries and concerns. " Does he know what he is doing?" type
or would it put people at ease?
