I am new here and today I was out MD and found a watch about 4" down. It cleaned up nice and may even run if I can get a battery for it. My question is can anyone tell me if it is fake or real?
It doesn't really matter as I am just stoked and finding something besides pennies.
Take it to a watch battery place and have them open it and take a look! A new battery might just make it work! I'm almost sure it's a battery watch, there are no chrono buttons. I might be wrong though. I'm use to playing with the real old stuff, so I couldn't tell if it is fake or not. Better pics might help some one to help. Even of the back. like mentioned by Bquamb.
I posted the same time you posted pics. Looks good!
If you can get 1 last picture of the very back showing model or serial/ other info that would be a huge help, really looks nice even if a fake, writing looks good, spacing on links is a bit looser than I thought, but a true watch repair place will be able to tell almost instantly upon opening.
1 last picture please =) nothing in the way of the back plate.
