Dug this from a lawn in front of a house built in 1873. All other coins and relics have dated from 1866 to present. This Pb thing I dug does not have the usual "old lead white" look. It could be a bullet, but I'm curious. The length is 17 mm (estimated 19 mm if one extends the blunted point), diameter 14 mm, and the concave indie goes to 8 mm. Any bullet thoughts? Thanks!

TomPA is correct... more specifically, it is a shotgun-slug from the 20th Century. See the photos below, showing one with a Winchester cartridge (for sale today), and some variations by other manufacturers.
