Bullet ID

Get some calipers so you can give us a diameter and length. These dimensions (along with weight) are key. Dimensions are most important. I'm guessing 1880 - 1900 from the style. Some folks on TNet are verry good at Id and I'm sure you'll get your answer. HH

It's an old fired, round nosed lead bullet with three lube rings.
without measurements and weight that's about all we can tell without guessing.

I agree with HuntingDog, looks...like a Confederate Minie Ball but dimensions are crucial on this

I don't think it is Civil War era,I think it is a modern bullet.
