All the CW Whitworth bullets were .45 in caliber. Your bullet is not the hexagonal type, so I'll skip that one. It should be 1.428 inches long. There should be NO dimple in the base. Base should be slightly dished. Your specimen looks a little too "pointy nosed" for a Whitworth.

The top bullet looks to be about 22mm in length which converts to .866 inches. That is about .5 inches shorter than the length Smokey said a Whitworth is. Please post a picture of the bottom of both bullets and measurements of the diameter of both.
