Found these in a small stream with bedrock bottom about 8" below the water. They look like .58 cal.
They don't look old to be civil war period. What do you guys think??? ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452209900.407833.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452209912.023065.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452209922.256183.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1452209933.675755.jpg

Nice finds, without lead oxidation, amazing how fresh water can react, or should I say NOT react to artifacts. Preserved like when they were lost! CONGRATS, sure you have more finds to come from that waterway!

NICE BULLETTS MR.DIGS ...

period bullets. Keep hitting that stream and the steep banks if you can stand it. Nice job

Great finds in extraordinary condition from sitting in water for the last century and a half. As others have already said, hit that stream and it's banks hard, repeatedly. If that many drops are there, there's likely to be a lot more to be found in the area. Good luck with it.

Thanks for your comments, you guys are the best, hadn't thought about the lack of oxidation from being under water. I will definitely hit the stream hard and the deeper water when it warms up. Good luck to all.
