✅ SOLVED buckle help

This was dug in a spot with colonial and 1820s-1830s artifacts... I thought @ first a shoe buckle but it doesn't bend in like a shoe buckle.. I am thinking 1820s-1830s time frame? any ideas? thanks - Hut

Just a guess, but I think it is a woman's sash belt buckle.

I agree with the sash id. Also looks Victorian to me.
